Showcasing our commitment to maintaining best practice and high standards through external independent accreditation and assessment
At DMR Services we continually work to improve the performance and positive impact our services and interventions have on the children, young people and families we work with.
Since our organisation was founded in 2001, we have made significant progress on many fronts; one of which is our commitment to evidencing and showcasing our practice and service delivery through external accreditation. We uphold the highest standards in all of our service provisions; and maintain unquestioned integrity in our service delivery and standards.
ISO 9001 STANDARDS ACCREDITATION
We have been awarded the ISO 9001 standards accreditation mark. The accreditation evidences our organisations ability to implement appropriate quality management systems for all areas of our business including our facilities, teams, training department, services and equipment.
CYBER ESSENTIALS ACCREDITATION
We take the protection of our data extremely seriously. As a result of our organisations ability to demonstrate our secure networks, information transfer protocols, and data storage, we have been awarded the Cyber Essentials accreditation.
OFSTED REGISTERED PROVIDERS
Our service is regulated, and inspected by Ofsted. Our registration with Ofsted ensures our ability to demonstrate through inspections our commitment to providing the best possible service to children, young people, and their families. We welcome feedback from Ofsted, and use this information to constantly reflect, and improve our service offering.
HSSF MARK
Following an independent assessment, we we’re awarded the Help and Support For Separated Families (HSSF) mark. Our HSSF accreditation evidences our organisations ability to promote positive parenting capacity following a relationship breakdown. The mark further demonstrates our commitment to actively support parents collaborate constructively to arrange things for their children.
CHAS ACCREDITATION
We have been assessed and awarded the Contractors Health and Safety Scheme (CHAS) accreditation. We were able to evidence to CHAS our high standards of Health and Safety across our organisation. Our CHAS accreditation shows our commitment to ensuring we maintain the highest standards of safety; and compliance with health and safety laws.
ICHA MEMBERSHIP
We are members of the Independent Children’s Homes Association (ICHA). ICHA is the only UK recognised trade association of independent residential child care providers. Our membership with ICHA allows us to access current information and networking opportunities; that allow us to participate in sharing best practice throughout the sector.
FAMILY MEDIATORS ASSOCIATION
We are members of the Family Mediation Association; having been assessed as being appropriately qualified and working within the Family Mediation Council code of practice. Our membership with the Family Mediation Association ensures the family mediation services we deliver are of a high quality and are based on best practice guidelines.
NCVO ACCREDITATION
Having passed an independent assessment, we have been awarded the NCVO Mentoring and Befriending Approved Provider Standard accreditation. The Approved Provider Standard (APS) accreditation comprises of ten requirements which we met successfully. The accreditation demonstrates our ability to deliver needs focused mentoring and befriending services that are safe, effective and work to achieve positive outcomes.
POSITIVE ABOUT DISABLED PEOPLE
Our Two Ticks Positive about Disabled People accreditation shows our commitment to supporting disabled people within our organisation; focusing on key areas including the employment, retention, training and career development of disabled employees.
DISABILITY CONFIDENT EMPLOYER
We have been awarded the Disability Confident Employer accreditation. The accreditation shows our understanding of disability, and our commitment to ensuring disabled people and those with health conditions, have the opportunity to fulfill their potential and realise their aspirations.
OCN QUALITY ENDORSED
We have been awarded the Open College Network Quality Endorsement Licence (QEL). The accreditation offers external endorsement and recognition of our health and social care training services. The Open College Network is regulated by Ofqual, the Welsh Government and the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA)
QEL+ ACCREDITATION
Following an independent assessment by the Open College Network, we have been awarded the highly valued quality mark of trust; Quality Endorsement Licence Plus (QEL+). The QEL+ accreditation showcases our commitment to ensuring policies, procedures and practices are robust.
YPSAA ACCREDITED PROVIDER
Having completed an independent assessment programme, we have been awarded the Young Peoples Supported Accommodation Assessment (YPSAA) accreditation. The accreditation evidences our supported accommodation provisions operate within the required legal standards, best practice guidelines and are best placed to achieve long lasting positive outcomes for care leavers
FAMILY MEDIATION COUNCIL
DMR Services’ family mediators are members of the Family Mediation Council (FMC) accreditation scheme; having been assessed as operating within the Framework for Professional Standards and Regulation. Our FMC accreditation showcases our dedication to ensuring the family mediation services we deliver are of the highest standards.
CORAMBAAF MEMBERSHIP
We are full members of CoramBaaf. Our membership with CoramBaaf enables our organisation to remain well informed of new developments, current sector issues and regulatory compliance. The membership indicates our commitment to ensuring our independent fostering agency, DMR Fostering Services operates to the highest standards of practice.
