At DMR Services we are experienced in undertaking a range of children’s statutory and welfare services on behalf of partner local authorities. Our social workers have an average post qualification experience of over eighteen years, with each having substantial experience in child protection. Where resources are unable to meet demand, our experienced social work teams can fill the gaps; ensuring every child receives the protection, support and resources they may require.
STATUTORY CHILDREN SERVICES & CHILD WELFARE INTERVENTIONS
SINGLE ASSESSMENTS & INITIAL VISITS
When demand outstretches resources, we work with local authorities to fulfill their legal duty to investigate child protection concerns. Through single assessments and initial visits, our service is flexible and seeks to support local authorities in meeting their statutory requirements where required
SAFE & WELL CHECKS
We have been providing scheduled and unannounced safe and well checks on behalf of our partner local authorities since 2015. Reducing the pressure on local authority resources at times of high demand, our service is flexible and seeks to ensure the safety and welfare of children 24 hours a day, 365 days a year
SECTION 37 REPORTS
Where required, we undertake Section 37 enquiries in to a childs circumstances as directed by the court on behalf of local authorities
APPROPRIATE ADULT
Our independent appropriate adult representation service seeks to safeguard the rights and welfare of young people suspected of a criminal offence
HOSPITAL BED WATCH
Where appropriate, our experienced team can provide 24-hour supervision and support to children and young people with secure orders during a hospital stay
