CHILDREN'S CONTACT SERVICES
Our children's contact services have been promoting positive and safe contact experiences for children, young people and families since 2001
Since 2001, we have been delivering safe and cost effective social work led children’s contact services for families throughout central England. Today we operate through our network of enhanced child contact centres and approved family contact venues; where children can spend quality time with their non-resident parent(s) and other family members. We work with local authorities, the courts, CAFCASS, legal services and private individuals under both private and public law arrangements – supporting over 350 families every month.
OUR CHILD & FAMILY CONTACT SERVICES
SUPERVISED CONTACT SERVICES
Our contact teams are experienced in the safe undertaking of supervised contact sessions for children. Led by our social work team, we deliver safe contact experiences for children; suited to the wishes of young people, court directions and the requirements of referrers. Quality assured Contact Session Reports (CSR’s) are made available following each session
UNSUPERVISED & SUPPORTED CONTACT
Our supported contact services seek to provide families with an appropriate level of support and guidance, based on their individual needs. This service is primarily used as a step-down from supervised contact observations, where there is no significant risk to the child. Our social work led teams remain available for the family throughout the session
CONTACT ASSESSMENTS
Delivering independent social work led evaluations of contact between children and their relatives since 2001
INDIRECT CONTACT
Bespoke indirect contact services for children including national letterbox contact services, supervised calls and more
CONTACT HANDOVERS
Facilitating positive and smooth contact handovers for children from one parent to another since 2001
HIGH RISK CONTACT SERVICES
We have extensive experience in facilitating high risk contact observations between children and their relatives
SAFE, NEUTRAL AND COMFORTABLE FAMILY CONTACT SERVICES FOR CHILDREN
We place the child at the centre of our family contact services, ensuring that every young person who engages with our service feels safe, supported and listened to
At DMR Services our social workers and experienced child contact teams work to support children and young people in building and maintaining meaningful and beneficial relationships with their non-resident parent(s) or other family members. We place the child at the centre of our family contact service; ensuring their needs, wishes and feelings are listened to and acted upon. Where required we provide full written reports for referrers; allowing progress to be identified and sustained.
