Chasetown Lodge was the first of our Staffordshire residential children’s homes and is located in a small village within the quiet town of Burntwood, Staffordshire. Allowing for easy access to some of the best open spaces and recreational sites in Staffordshire, Chasetown Lodge specialises in providing therapeutic residential care placements for looked after children with emotional and social difficulties as a result of past traumatic experiences. Supported by our multi-disciplinary team, Chasetown Lodge supports young people to overcome their personal challenges and thrive through access to groundbreaking therapeutic interventions and engaging learning opportunities in a safe and supportive environment.

LIFE AT CHASETOWN LODGE
Chasetown Lodge offers a supportive living environment where young people can work through their past experiences, develop new life skills and thrive. This Staffordshire residential children’s home offers everything that could be expected of any other modern family home, balanced with appropriate modifications that allows us to deliver appropriate and safe care to the young people placed with us. Chasetown Lodge is a large family home, offering spacious bedrooms, communal areas and outside space where young people can relax and socialise. In addition, Chasetown Lodge has been strategically located to ensure easy access to a number of nearby outdoor activity and leisure centres where young people can engage in their existing or newly found hobbies and interests
EVIDENCE BASED, MULTI-DISCIPLINARY INTERVENTIONS
At DMR Services we understand they each and every young people entrusted in our care are unique, with unique past experiences, needs and future aspirations. As such Chasetown Lodge remains child centered and focused on ensuring that every young person is able to access evidence based assessments and interventions that are each led by our multi-disciplinary team. Our MDT team each specialise in their own area of expertise, ensuring our young people have early access to highly skilled professionals at the point of need. Some of the interventions we can offer include counselling, anger management and sexualised behaviour interventions, therapeutic evidence based therapies including CBT and therapeutic life story work among others
LOCAL HEALTH FACILITIES
We understand the importance of meeting the unique health needs of our young people. Chasetown Lodge has over the past 17 years developed excellent working relationships with health facilities including a CQC rated ‘Good’ GP surgery. Dentistry and hospitals offering NHS services are also located within a short distance
RELIGIOUS FACILITIES
Despite its quiet residential area, Chasetown Lodge has been strategically located to ensure we are able to meet, promote and accommodate the religious needs of the young people placed at the home. Near to Chasetown Lodge is a number of small churches, with other religious venues including mosques and synagogues located nearby
EDUCATIONAL PROVISIONS
Near to Chasetown Lodge are a number of Ofsted rated ‘Good’ educational provisions. Where mainstream education is not appropriate, we pride ourselves on our organisations ability to offer a number of alternative educational placements, where young people can access engaging and appropriate learning opportunities

Chasetown Lodge follows our successful multi-disciplinary approach to care that has enabled many young people to leave our care as more resilient, empowered and confident individuals. Chasetown Lodge is at the forefront of this unique approach, ensuring that every young person placed at the home is given the opportunities, the support and the evidence led resources they need to work through their difficulties, develop positive relationships and move forward. As one of the largest providers of children’s social care in the Midlands, we’re in a unique position to respond to the changing needs of our young people, whether that be through access to our therapeutic services, family contact through one of our centres or even foster care placements as a step-down, our organisation is able to provide young people with the support they need with in-house consistency.
ROBERT'S STORY
Since 2001, we have cared for, supported and guided some of our communities most vulnerable young people. We are continually recognised for our ability to meet the dynamic and changing needs of the young people placed in our care. Like Robert, many young people have benefited from our unique multi-disciplinary approach to residential care, where we are able to implement the right interventions and resources at the point of need with in-house continuity.
