David is qualified Social Worker with over twenty years experience. David has worked within the National Health Service; Mental Health and Learning Disabilities Services. Here David worked with patients who presented with challenging behaviour. He was also part of Birmingham’s Community Resettlement Multi-Disciplinary Team back in the 90’s and moved over to Birmingham Social Services in 1998; working within the duty and assessment safe guarding team, where he qualified as a Social Worker in 2000. He then transferred over to care management; being responsible for the long term care planning needs of young people.
In 2002 David formed DMR Services along with Sally. Today DMR Services is a leading provider of Residential and Community based services for children, young people and families throughout the East and West Midlands including Birmingham, Coventry, Wolverhampton and Telford and Wrekin; and employs over one hundred and forty social care workers. More recently, David has been selected to sit on the Staffordshire Police and Crime Commissioners ETA Panel, working along side Matthew Ellis; Staffordshires Police and Crime Commissioner.
